More about me...
Originally from country NSW, I am now living and working on the Gold Coast after spending some years in Far North QLD…. I am a mother and wife and have 2 wonderful boys who are primary school age.

I am a Registered Psychologist and have experience working with a diverse range of clients including those who have been impacted by trauma (incl. Veterans and Emergency Services), addiction, personality difficulties including Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), depression and anxiety. I have a particular interest in working with adult ADHD'ers (and Autistic ADHD'ers) to navigate the challenges associated with an ADHD or Autism diagnosis and work from a neuroaffirming perspective (see below). Additionally, I also enjoy supporting parents to better understand and support their neurodivergent children and how their unique brains work, in a more collaborative way.

I am currently accepting referrals for:

-
Adult (17+) ADHD/Autistic clients who are wanting to explore their neurotype and/or seeking support for the challenges related to their ADHD/neurodivergence including co-occurring anxiety/depression
-
Other mental health diagnoses and difficulties including depression, anxiety, emotion regulation difficulties, stress management and self esteem
-
Parenting stress
-
Interpersonal difficulties

What is neuroaffirming (NA)? As a NA Psychologist I respect difference and diversity. I see ADHD/Autism as a neurotype and not something to be 'treated' but rather a brain that works differently. I help you to build skills based on your strengths, interests and individual needs. I aim to wherever possible, create a therapeutic environment that is neurodivergent-friendly.

As a NA Psychologist, areas I can help with: stress, anxiety or depression that often co-occurs with ADHD/Autism, ADHD coaching topics, exploring your executive function strengths and weaknesses, addressing substance use issues, exploring accessibility supports, parent support (raising neurodivergent kids), parent support (being an Autistic and/or ADHDer yourself), burnout and strategies work best for you when it comes to time management, procrastination and emotion regulation.
